Summary
Cold case detective and newlywed, Ronan O’Mara, is sitting on top of the world. When he returns to work after his honeymoon, he finds more waiting for him than a stack of dusty cold-case files. Hidden in the mail on Ronan’s desk is a letter from Tank Hutchins, aka The Riverside Ripper. Convicted of murdering a woman three years ago, Tank claims he is innocent and asks Ronan and Tennyson for their help in proving who really committed the crime: his twin brother, Tim.
Psychic Tennyson Grimm is reluctant to meet with the convicted murderer who’s placed his faith in Ten’s gift. When Tennyson realizes Tank is innocent of the crime for which he’s serving 25 to life, he knows that he and Ronan have to do whatever it takes to set things right.
Together with Tank’s private investigator, the mysterious Jude Byrne, Ronan and Tennyson retrace the steps of the original investigation hoping to find the one piece of evidence that will get Tank’s conviction overturned and bring the real killer to light.
When new evidence leads them to believe there’s a larger conspiracy at play, will Tennyson and Ronan be able to find the killer before he returns to complete his diabolical plan?

Solid follow up
this book sees Ronan and Tenysson chasing a serial killer and as a crime drama, it's really grooming and suspenseful. There's less romance in this book and I missed it a bit, I live Ronan and Ten as a couple and the last book was so delicious. The supporting cast are back and they're great as usual. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one, but it wasn't as great as the first one.
Micheal Pauley is fantastic as always. The man coyote narrate the phone book and I'll listen.

The honeymoon is over!
Well, Tenn and Ronan do have to go back to work :)
Just when you think that Tenn and Ronan will settle into domestic bliss when they get back from their honeymoon, they are pulled into another unusual case - unusual because this time, no ghosts were involved.
Trying to find the evidence to free an innocent man made for an interesting story. Add in the family that both Tenn and Ronan have gathered along the way, including Tenn's slowly thawing mum, and you have a really good (as always).
Also par for the course is Michael Pauley as the narrator. He's really made the series his own (I've said it before). There were times that I felt he was narrating a little too fast, but not enough to really detract from his always excellent performance.
Loved it!

Another brilliant book in the series
Each book in this series gets better. Ingenious twist in this story that I never saw coming. Can’t wait for the next one
Michael Pauley’s narration is spot on. His characterisation along with the excellent writing helps me conjure up images of all of the characters making it a joy to listen to.

Deadly doppelgänger?
I love the Cold Case Psychic seres by Pandora Pine and Michael Pauley does an amazing job of bringing the characters and their world to life. This sixth book finds Cold Case Detective Ronan O'Mara returning to work after an absence of several months owing to various circumstances and his new husband Tennyson Grimm-O'Mara getting into his readings at West Side Magick still reeling from his mother's attendance at their Day of the Dead wedding.
This one has quite a twist with twins, one of whom is currently in prison for murder based on DNA alone...lots of family secrets...it's quite a reveal when the truth comes out as to who really done it!
I love how Ten and Ronan talk to each other about things instead of letting them fester, and I love how their circle of friends and family work together and welcome Jude into their midst. The Thanksgiving dinner was my favourite part of this story and there's an interesting turkey competition with 4 differently cooked birds...highly recommended for all PP/CCP fans and all lovers of paranormal thrillers with lots on man on man loving thrown in for good measure.

Another good one
This book is slightly different as Ronan get a letter from a convicted man claiming to be innocent, Ten is not happy with how Ronan starts this case.
We have a new character introduced who I have a feeling will be around for lots of time to come causing Ronan and Ten plenty of headaches.
This is another great book in this ever expanding world and Michael Pauley does a fantastic job with this story.

Brilliant as always!
Another thrilling case for Ten and Ronan! I really liked Pandora's mind and this case is a unique twisted challenge that will test the newlywed. I still love Ten and Ronan and everything about them and their made/found family. As they come back from a very short 'not quite' honeymoon and they both head back to work; an inmate has a letter waiting for Ronan. Unfortunately, the way Ronan chooses to handle this letter and subsequent start of the case causes the first fight for the newly married couple. We see all the favorites of the West-side Magic family as they rally around Ten and Ronan.
This case is twisted but it brings Jude into our lives!!! I'll admit I really didn't like Jude or his attitude and if I hadn't read his story first I'm sure I would have hated him! He is just like Ronan and I love his introduction and 'induction' into the family!! Fitzgibbon is hilarious in giving Jude a 'name' and welcoming him into the crew!!
Another thrilling case and surprising reveal. We meet some new (very important) characters that I know I will love. As always I loved it and look forward to what's next for the whole, ever expanding, family!!!
Thanks for reading!

Gah! SO GOOD
OMG do not listen to this home alone at night! Michael Pauley did a phenomenal job and his creepy voice is WOW he seriously brought this to a whole new level. Pandora's story telling is so great and her books really take you on a journey from beginning to end! But I do have to admit this one had me leaving all the lights on
