About this listen
Navy SEAL, hero, survivor....
The moment I met Ryker Flynn, my brother’s best friend, sparks ignited.
But he considered me off-limits, an untouchable angel.
Now, 10 years later, he hates me with a passion.
Because I am the CIA officer responsible for sending him, my brother, and their elite squad to certain death.
Only Ryker managed to survive the doomed op, but PTSD and survivor’s guilt have nearly destroyed him.
Meanwhile, I lost everything—my job, family and the respect of the one man I can’t seem to forget.
So when I hear I was set up as a scapegoat, I’m determined to find out the truth and clear my name.
But I’m going to need help from someone I trust.
Unfortunately, the only man I trust never wants to see me again....
Ready for a thrilling ride of danger and desire? This third captivating story in the Platinum Security series is a standalone, dual-perspective story with overlapping characters.

Fantastic romantic suspense!
Romantic suspense at it's best, Kelly Myers continues her Platinum Security series with Ryker and Avery's story. Ryker, Avery's brother's best friend has hated her since his SEAL team was taken out due to her bad intel. Now dealing with PTSD and survivor's guilt, he is struggling through life. Avery, a CIA agent, receives an email that states she can be cleared of any guilt of the tragedy. Bringing it to Ryker, despite his feelings, the two join forces to see where it leads. And our story begins. This is a nonstop action story, packed with visual imagery that brings the scenes alive. I was right there with these two as their feelings were revealed, when the chases were on and when I wasn't sure how it would all turn out! It's exciting, fast paced and full of love. I am loving this series and can't wait to see where Kelly Myers takes us next!
Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliot are our storytellers. These two are the series, understanding each character and creating a world that is easy to escape into. With accents and so many personalities, each voice is perfectly fit to the story. I loved their narration!

A Gripping & Emotional Romantic Suspense!
Kelly Myers pens another fantastic novel set in her “Platinum Security” series and it is an action-packed romantic suspense that grabs your attention right from the start and holds it captive for the entire book. Each book in the series features a different member of Platinum Security and can be enjoyed as a standalone. Some characters crossover from other books, but everything you need to know about them is included in the descriptive details. This book is Ryker Flynn and Avery Archer’s story and what a story it is. Ryker is a former Navy Seal, a sole survivor of a mission that went wrong. He not only lost his entire team that day, but his best friend, Luke Archer, too. The reason the mission turned out badly was because the CIA’s information was all wrong and it was Avery Archer, CIA agent and Luke’s sister who fed their team that information. She was devastated by that, and heartbroken by the loss of her brother and the look of hatred Ryker had for her at Luke’s funeral. She left the CIA and now, two years later, she receives a call telling her it was a setup and she was a scapegoat and the caller has proof. This cryptic caller wants her to meet in person, but it is in the same country where her brother died. She wants nothing more than to clear her name and the only person she trusts to help her is Ryker, but she is not sure if he would hear her out. Ryker did not want to hear her out, but had second thoughts and agreed to help. Informing the others at Platinum Security, he and Avery set off to meet this person, and the intel leads them to the same drug cartel Ryker’s team was trying to take down. There is never a dull moment in this book and once again the world building and plotting is fantastic and the drama is nonstop. Despite all Ryker has been through, he is still a bad arse and Avery could hold her own, too. Kelly Myers, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott continue to do an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on and they are believable in every role they play. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the character’s emotions and projected them into his performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fantastic listen.

Suspenseful romance
A twisty and thrilling read. Ryker and Avery have a lot of old wounds to heal after the loss of her brother and the other men in Ryker's SEAL team. Once Avery decides to follow clues to clear her name, the story goes from one suspenseful scene to the other. There were a few moments during Avery and Ryker's time in Colombia, where they got out of situations a far too easily, only for them to get caught up in something else shortly later. It was non-stop action with some romantic scenes sprinkled in.

Great narration, interesting story
I’ve listened to the second and now this third book in the series. The events of Dark Sins are entirely independent of the previous books, and it could be listened to as a stand alone. I liked that the two books I listened to were different from each other so there is variety in the series.
Jamie Kersey and Kenneth Elliott did a great job with the narration and I would listen to both of them again.
I received a copy of this book at my request, and the opinions here are my own.
