About this listen
“If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite...” (William Blake)
The manipulation includes all those attitudes or behaviors put in place to modify, in the desired direction, the behavior, opinions, emotions, and perceptions of another person without the latter being able to activate a critical thought to realize what is happening.
Are you able to distinguish what you perceive from what is real? Are you able to learn the secrets of dark psychology? Are you able to apply those secrets avoiding being manipulated by yourself? Are you able to recognize a lie if someone tells you one? Are you able to protect yourself from manipulators?
Therefore, those who are manipulated find themselves doing things they don’t want, making choices that they don’t really feel, and that, moreover, will never satisfy the beneficiary. Everything you do will never be enough for the manipulator. In the most severe cases, the manipulation can turn into a real psychological abuse (brainwashing). In this audiobook, I’m going to tell you how the human mind works.
Psychology is a powerful weapon in your hands if you know how to use it. You know that I'm referring to your daily life. I'm talking about emotions, perceptions, and secrets of dark psychology. Yes, you can use these secrets for your benefit, if you know how. From small to large systems, how truly free are we to choose? Or how much are we manipulators? Fill the gap between perception and reality, now.

An ok audiobook
I was hoping to learn more about the mind by listening to this audiobook. Maybe because my expectations were high, this is the reason why I rated it at 4 stars.
I enjoyed the approach which was taken to write this book - the research and movie mentions implied within - but I feel I knew many of the things mentioned in this book. Someone not familiar with these issues will enjoy and take more from this book than I did. For someone more experienced, this book won't be too satisfactory (in my opinion).
The narrator had a pleasent voice overall, although there were instances - twice from what I remember - when he repeated words instead of removing them during the editing of the book.
I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
