About this listen
Well, that was sudden! Shamus turns on the television to discover that the planet has been invaded. Drew, Sabastian, and Mary, along with Shamus and an alien visitor, Teak, are all that survived the swift apocalypse.
Forming the resistance did not take long, as there’s only five of them, but they will put up a fight nonetheless.
Nobody saw it coming, nobody expected it, and nobody could have imagined the fight that followed....

Laugh out loud listen
Absolutely loved this and laughed out loud many times. Clever writing and utterly brilliant narrator. The regional accents brought the characters to life and were well executed. The author kindly sent me a few of his other books and I can’t wait to get started on them.

Brilliant!
Simon Carr's latest novel is a laugh out loud Sci-Fi scream. Taking everyday people and turning them into the last hope for mankind when an alien invasion imprisons everyone else on the planet.
Love the characters, love the dialog and the crazy plot, but best of all it's loaded with hilarious references to pop culture, movies and more.
My tip is not to listen to this in public if you want to avoid the funny looks

Once again the author Simon Carr write a totally hilariously story with his incredible imagination which is incredibly funny that you just can’t stop laughing or take breaks.
Everything is a twist in this book.
Narration by Mr Adam Brown is done beautifully with a nice accent for all the characters in this creation.
My full recommendations !!!
