Highly recommend for improving any processing.
If you have no knowledge of lean I would not start here and suggest something like 2 seconds lean by Paul A.
This book is a must for any process on the path or just starting a lean journey. It's very heavy on the details which is prefect for any lean leader or anyone in the detail, I would highly recommend to anyone that I interested taking things to the next level by reducing the 8 wastes and improving flow.
