Interesting but more a discussion of than a how to
The book contains a lot of info about what CBT/DBT/etc. is, its history, evolution, how it works etc., but it doesn't really guide you through applying it. It's not a bad book or anything but more informational than directly useful.

Waste of time.
As mentioned by another reviewer:
"The book contains a lot of info about what CBT/DBT/ACT etc. is, its history, evolution, how it works etc., but it doesn't really guide you through applying it. It's not a bad book or anything but more informational than directly useful."
This book has virtually no information on using CBT. The chapters are not titled so you can't skip anything. It tells you what the therapy can do but there isn't anything practical for you to use. I am at a loss as to why it has such great reviews. The audio book is useless. The title is:
"A Guide to Fight Anxiety and Panic Attacks with Mental Toughness Using CBT, DBT, and ACT"
It isn't a guide at all though. I wouldn't waste your time. And I am really baffled how it managed to get such good reviews.

All about CBT , not how to action it
Very thorough book about CBT, but absolutely nothing to take away about how to apply it to your life.
