Editor reviews
Mystery lovers are in for a treat with this gripping installment of Gwendoline Butler’s acclaimed John Coffin series, Coffin on Murder Street, which follows the titular Inspector Coffin as he investigates the disappearance of a famous American soap opera star’s son following a series of increasingly ominous threats. Inspector Coffin suspects a child molester who has recently moved to the area, but even the boy’s mother is not in the clear....
Actor Nigel Carrington’s rich, rolling tone guides listeners through the twists and turns of this engrossing procedural, skillfully accentuating the tension in this can’t-press-stop thriller.

Coffin will carry you off into Second City
I had never heard of this character before but he's very comfortable and gives me a sense of nostalgia somehow. I really enjoyed the story and I'll be listening to more! A less alcoholic Morse with better position of authority, and a lot less snark! Yes, I will definitely be keeping an eye out for Coffin!

Emotive crimes
Good to have over view of crimes some signs of minor errors which prevented the story being shorter

I'll be back for more...
Quite good. I'll definitely give these another go. Reasonable story, and I quite enjoyed the main characters.

not bad but that's all
I've a few issues with this series of listens . There are so many characters the main tale can be hard to follow . AND the order of listens is not possible to figure because they don't have any order to them so you may be listening to the first last and vice versa.
