About this Series: Jump into a rebirth story that mixes LitRPG and GameLit Elements with Monster Evolution. Levels, Stats, Skills, Magic, Power Progression, Kingdom Building, Party Building, Army Building, evolution, a monster MC, gigantic enemies (compared to Ant at least), and plenty of humor fitting for such a ludicrous premise.

A very nice start to an interesting adventure

This was something completely new for me and even though there were some moments the humour was a bit too childlish, I found myself unable to stop listening, wondering what happens next to the brave ant Anthony. I recommend it to anyone who likes a less dramatic but still action-packed fantasy story.

FOR THE COLONY

Finally my favourite book has trantscended the pages and has graced my ears in auditory fashion, the voice of anthony is a bit off-putting in the beginning, but quickly grew on me as the quality improved and the familiar antics of anthony started to shine through due to the amazing performance.

looking forward to the entire thing being voiced like this! keep it up!

An interesting isekai

The story resembles to the “So I'm a Spider, So What?” (Kumo Desu ga, Nanika?) with its own take, ant and colony.

Performance is okay. The acting out of the transformations at first are interesting but later become annoying!
I like the reminders of skipping and how much at the beginning of the stats!

Overall it worth listening.

A unique and outstanding listen

I was not sure what to expect with this book as I was unsure if an ant's point of view would be entertaining and make for a good litRPG. Well it was incredible. Very funny, never boring and I cared about what was happening so there were times when things were very heartfelt.

The pace was good and the stat screens can be skipped if you wish.

The narrator Jeff Hays really gives his all in this, I don't think the audiobook would work without him and the effort he puts in. The narrator and Soundbooth theatre deserve a big thank you and a well done.I

A most enjoyable listen. I look forward to the next book.

Good but... (review after 3 books)

The story and performance is pretty good.
There is some decent world/character building but it is a bit childish at times.
Not childish enough to make me not want to keep listing but still.

"Everything feels weird."

Anthony, dead, but born again as a giant ant.
Lots of fighting, upgrades and levelling up but with the option to skip the periodic stats readings after the initial ones, thank goodness. The story, told from Anthony's perspective, is funny and rather charming as he tries to encompass his new situation. It would be a great story to share with a child but there is just too much fighting for my personal enjoyment.
What makes this book really work, however, is the excellent performance by Jeff Hays, who adopts an Estuary English accent and throws his voice into the action for almost the entire near monologue of this book, his only relief a very few minutes when Annie Elliott voices the brief appearances of the Queens.
Jeff Hayes is the star of this book, his narration excellent, funny, and totally absorbing. Over seventeen hours of total mayhem. Outstanding.
