Summary

Found in the debris of the plane wreck barely alive, Lexi is finally home. But home doesn't mean safe. Someone powerful, connected, and willing to kill is after her.

Lexi Sobado, code name Lynx, is the young, puzzling prodigy with a psychic gift working for Iniquus. Her job is to support American security and safety as she hunts through intelligence pieces in order to stop our enemies. This time, solving the puzzle means saving her own life. Rival group Omega has been contracted to bring her in dead or alive. Alive would mean rendition and interrogation.

Already broken from her Honduran imprisonment and escape, Lynx recovers in hiding while she works through the case. She is not alone; Strike Force is in full protective mode, along with her Dobermans, Beetle and Bella. Strike Force Commander Striker Rheas has won Lynx's heart, but in her world, can there be such a thing as happily ever after?

Right now, Lynx's focus is fixed on the dark enemy, threatening not only her and Iniquus, but American defense and safety.

Lives are on the line; can Lynx find the puppet master in time?

Breath stealing novel excellently performed

Poor Lynx - the traumas that the author puts her through! If you thought the first two books in the series were tension-filled, just wait for it to keep amping up throughout this one.

I’ve read the whole series several times on Kindle and I think these books with Lynx and Striker are probably my favourites in the wider world of Iniquus. Lynx is a unique and fascinating character with her esoteric range of knowledge and skills, her empathy and compassion. And of course she is well matched with Striker, the object of her hero-worship when she was a teenager and who proves on later acquaintance to be completely free of clay feet, counterbalancing his military expertise and honour with the imagination and flair of an artist.

I enjoy listening to audiobooks when I’m not sitting down to read but I’ve been avoiding the audio versions of the Lynx series as I didn't believe a narrator could convey the emotional heights and depths that Lynx goes through whilst at the same time doing justice to the male characters. I have to say that I was completely wrong. Jesse Vilinsky is an awesome voice performer, giving a unique voice to each character and hitting the emotional temperature of each scene perfectly.

Highly recommended. But do start with book 1!

Amazing story

Once again I’m on the edge of my seat listening and reading this instalment in this amazing series. I’m totally hooked on the outcome with these fascinating and compelling characters. The premise is inspiring and full of drama, suspense and intrigue. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Fabulous narration too..

Very enjoyable.

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. I started with one of her other books first but soon searched for the first of her series. Well written, well thought out. Characters are super. Would I read more absolutely.

Love this series

Great story. Love the characters. Interesting to understand how Lexi puts clues together to figure things out - Interesting how her mind works differently , and how her upbringing has given such a rich education
