Tragic history
Fascinating but tragic story of genocide of the Native Americans. Exploitation and lies used to steal land and destroy an ancient culture. Like many civilised countries created on the blood of indigenous people. Well written and accessible!!

Must be read
What a heart rending story.
Fascinating and a damning window into ‘civilisation’ and it’s greed and arrogance.

An important listen
A painful overview of what preceded a society enjoyed by many today with little knowledge of truly what came before. In a world where indigenous people around the world are still suffering at the hands of commercial interest and corruption, the lessons from this book are as vital as ever.

Detailed historical recount
Heart rendering and detailed account of the treachery and systematic abuses by white Americans, which destroyed North American Indians. this book is an almost endless litany of the horrific injustices committed to tribe after tribe of innocent North American Indians. the Invaders who saw themselves as superior, systemically & inhumanly dispossessed and exterminated entire races of people. the appalling genocide is a story that needs telling.
4 star because it read more like a history book, than a story, each massacre sounding like the last. this made the account a little dry to read, despite the mind blowing nature of this reall life story.

Very informative
Really good can be hard to listen to with the cruelty and manipulation that was set on the natives

A Life-Changing Work
A deeply affecting chronicle of the American genocide of the 19th century. This is a history that should have much wider recognition.
