Summary
An actress since she was 14 years old, Paige Lockwood finds herself craving a little normalcy after a scandal rocks her otherwise predictable world. With everyone in her life attempting to control her, she takes matters into her own hands and leaves town without so much as a plan or a destination.
But the destination finds her as car trouble forces Paige to settle down in a small Southern town as she waits for repairs. There she meets the handsome, albeit standoffish, Tatum Montgomery, and both of their lives are forever altered as they learn that sometimes when you aren't looking for love, it finds you anyway. The real question is: Can you hold on to it when you're from two completely different worlds?

it can happen in real life too
some parts reminded me of how my husband and I experienced our courtship. waiting for the right one and or standing up for what you want foes pay off

loved this book
Loved Tatum and Paiges story, easy listening and flowed nicely, enjoying this series so far. looking forward to Quinns story next. Narrators definitely the right ones, especially Jason Clarke there is just something about his voice.

relaxing and comfortable
so it's not a gripping thriller, it doesn't question humanity, but I really enjoyed this book, the escape, the relaxing, I feel I got to know the characters and definitely want more

Famous actress falls in love with a small town guy
I loved this light-hearted romance, this would make a good chick flick. I always love a happy ending.

I loved this story! A grumpy treasure of a man in Tatum, and a sweet , sincere woman in need of a break and some kindness in Paige. Narrated perfect6by Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke. Fabulous 💖💖💖💖💖

The story is exactly what you expect
I was looking for an easy listen, and this is exactly what it was! You know what's gonna happen, and you're happy to go along for the ride!
I have to say though, the brooding alpha character that the writer is going for in Tatum, actually was a little much for me. In a lot of instances he was just a horrible person, and it was hard to believe Paige wouldn't be put off by him. He's controlling, aggressive, petulant, and overall immature. Not my favourite.
The narration is good, I enjoyed it.
