Book 3 - Oxytocin, endorphins, and dopamine are three of the four “happy hormones” in our brain. Oxytocin is a powerful hormone - it isn’t called the “love drug” for nothing. However, this title barely scratches the surface of the social bonding effects this hormone has. Oxytocin also plays a big part in childbearing as it increases contractions during labor and increases lactation after birth.

Endorphins is more of a catch-all as it implies a pharmacological activity as opposed to a specific chemical formulation. These endorphins can act as painkillers, kind of like the body’s own natural morphine. Endorphins can be activated by a host of things, even something as simple as a big smile or a heartfelt laugh.

Dopamine is a hormone that is also big on making you feel good. It can stop anxiety, but it can also cause an increase in impulsive reactions. Learn of its relations to studying, ADHD, schizophrenia, and more.

Estrogen is basically a girl form of testosterone. It’s responsible for the development and maintenance of her female parts. Learn the essentials about estrogen. Find out the impacts it has on the body and its relationship with fertility and aging. Learn the signs of low estrogen and more in this book.

one long cheesy magazine article

It's kind of like those articles that tell guys how to pick up chicks.

Well read, but incoherent in structure and grammar

The reader makes a valient effort to read a poorly written text, that comes over as an assembly of matter gutted from the internet.

The grammar is poor, and the text repetitive. There is hardly any structure, and it is essentially an assemblage of assertions. The author seems to have dragged the internet on a key word search, and loosely thrown the text together using cut and paste. An irritating waste of time.
