Summary
A trip abroad. A dark secret. Her family's legacy of magic may cost a teen her life....
Georjie’s summer is shaping up to be a big disappointment. Trapped in Ireland with her aunt’s gorgeous but cold adopted son, Jasher, her "vacation" gets worse with each passing day. But when a trip to the greenhouse reveals glowing cocoons she shouldn't be able to see, she embarks on a quest to solve a magical mystery....
In the pages of an ancient diary, Georjie learns a dark family history and an incredible earthly power. But as she digs deeper and realizes she isn't the only one with a touch of magic, the ghosts of the past may do much more than haunt her.
Can Georjie provide justice for her ancestors before she becomes the next family victim?

Loved it
What’s not to like? A well written fantasy for young adults that anyone who has a love or fantasy and romance should enjoy regardless of age. This is book 2 of a great series and I am looking forward to reading the next book in this unusual take on the fae.

Elementals still going strong! Great!
I have read the book, and have now heard the audiobook! I have said before it is lovely to have the stories read to me, it really adds a dimension of life to the stories that you don’t necessarily get it with just reading it.
This is the third book in the elemental series and follows Georjayna to Ireland, where she undertakes her own transformation/development whilst on a journey of self discovery. She learns an awful lot about herself and her family history whilst staying with her aunt and adopted cousin, who is wrestling with Demons of his own so to speak. I won’t post spoilers, but you need to read and listen to the story! Another brilliant offering from AL Knorr!

For a story that blows you away.
Loved this story the first, and second, time I read it, but listening to it allows me to do other things at the same time.
I enjoyed listening to the narrator for the most part, thank you. Unfortunately I am an elderly British lady and often end up becoming fed up with the mispronounciation of a few words. I wish that narrators would learn how to use the English language correctly.
I can't wait to start the next series with the other friends.
Thank you both very much for the opportunity to listen to one of the books in the series while I use my hands to get on with one of my hobbies.

I want to be an Elemental!
Once again I have been transported to the mix of the the real world and the supernatural. A.L. Knorr is a master at bringing to life the myths we grew up with in the modern world. I can’t wait for the next story in the series. In fact I think I’ll start it now.

Just keeps getting better
This series is getting better and better each book.
This is Georjie's story of how she became an Elemental.
She goes to Ireland to stay with her aund and adopted cousin. Her cousin is cold and distant towards her but as time goes on, they become friends.
Jasher shows Georjie the buttlerfly pupae and then points one out to her asking her if she can see it - of course she can, but she is shocked when she finds out it's a fairy pupae!
From here it's a wild ride of finding out the history of her family to saving Jasher and his estranged father.
I can't wait to find out Akiko's story and how the friends react to each others' amazing summer and the turn of events each of them have taken.
Very well written and narrated beautifully by Gabra Zackman

Fairy magic at its best
Another amazing book….. being a farmer I listen to books all day long. I’m sure I started to see the fairies. If I was an elemental this is who I would be!

Another cracker! Brilliant!
After reading born of water and born of fire, you grow attached to the previous characters and I felt nervous that I wouldn’t like the next ones as much, but nope, I loved her. I am married to an Irish man, and was nervous that maybe she wouldn’t get Ireland, but no again, well done. Or fair play to ya. I love flowers too, so gorgeous descriptions as well as history, mysteries and action. Good fast pace. Good endings with everything tied up.
