About this listen

Keegan lives to exact revenge on the evil demon who sired and abused him. When his father devises a plan to bring on the apocalypse, he and his three half-brothers, interdimensional bounty hunters for the Elden Council, are charged with capturing and delivering their father for punishment.

Art gallery owner Brynn Meyers has no idea that her ability to read memories embedded in objects and drain people of their life force means she has demon ancestry. Unfortunately for Brynn, she's also the key to raising an ancient zombie army, which puts her on every demon's Most Wanted List.

And no one wants her more than Keegan's father.

Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary, but he'll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics - the far deadlier, uncontrollable half - when he starts to fall for the one woman standing between him and the vengeance he so desperately seeks. The one woman he'll never be able to resist.

Needes a male voice

I agree with another review: successful business woman becomes a wimp! The narrator's high pitched voice ( mostly irritating and a 'blob' sound track detracting from the story) needed a male voice to ground the story. Can't actually access the series.. Good story line shame about the narration.

Great book & excellent narration

This is the first book in the series, there are four more on Amazon Kindle, although each one can be considered a stand alone, as they each feature a different brother and his love interest, plus a shorter novella featuring the brothers' best friend. I'm yet to read the rest of the books but the storyline of this one was captivating and the multiple points of view made it stand out. Excellent world building and given the childhood of the MMC, he started a little off, but the character growth throughout the book was very good. And what impressed me the most, was the moral compass of the main characters, especially at the end. Great listen, overall.

Decent plot

Pretty good story, the narration was ok but sometimes hard to tell which male character was speaking.

Boring

This is a very boring story and becomes an extra bad combination with the "soft" female narrator.

The story has potential but is to superficial so it's very difficult to get involved.

Disappointing

The story was too basic. The characters felt cliche and at times way too predictable. I didn't like the narrator's voice neither. I pushed through this - I don't know why. Glad it's over.

Not ok

First he punched her so hard she passed out , kidnaps her then they full in love . Nope nope couldn’t listen to any more of the story as she just seemed a bit annoyed over the treatment. It’s just a story justifying abuse .

There is a reason this is free..

The writing is pretty bad and and the narration isn't much better.

It's just a bunch of tropes with little to no character development. But then again it is hard to do much with these characters and their 2D personalities.
