Behind the curtain look at the human mind
Manipulation is everywhere. In business. In relationships. In the media. We can't avoid it.
But by understanding what is going on in the world around us, we can at least be aware of what's going on. This book is a seminal work, equivalent the Cialdini's influence, except more focused on the individual rather than corporations. Covering the darker side of psychology, it gives a look at what it takes to make it in today's world. There were parts that brought me back to the first time I read The 48 Laws of Power - and how eye opening that book was.
10/10 listen.

Informative, motivational and easy to digest
I found Beyond Persuasion to be extremely interesting and it captured the extent of manipulation very well. There were plenty of strategies and tips that I will definitely be putting into action. I loved having it on my phone so I could go back and review different sections when I needed them again. Really nice narration too.
