About this listen
How does a man live two lives? One with honor as a firefighter and the other questionable as a nomad in a Motorcycle Club. Add into the already confusing mix an unbelievable skill set that allows him the uncanny ability to absorb other's thoughts and emotions.
Francis M. Stein, aka Stitch, is surviving the best he can with the hand he has been dealt. He has found an extended family in his brothers in both his firehouse and MC. Still he is alone, isolated and living a solitude life seeing no changes in his immediate future. He is simply existing.
That is until a young boy named Damien enters his life and introduces him to everything he his missing. Francis finally is able to see a future for himself that includes a woman of his own and a family. Grace Sinclair is everything he could ever dream of and more.
As with everything in Francis' life there is good and bad. Will Francis, Grace, and Damien be able to overcome their problems for a happily ever after or will fate once again cause chaos for them? Only time will tell.

PNR MC
I’m not really sure what to think of this one, I feel like it had a good premise, but was just a bit too cheesy for me.
I also didn’t really care for the narration, I’m not sure if it was more the storyline or the narrators.

Behemoth
This is a love story with a main character who is both a nomad of the Grimm Wolves MC and a fireman as well. It’s an intriguing start to a series that builds up on all of the characters in the MC and shows the duality of Francis/Stitches life. His horrific past and being tortured by his parents as a child has left him scared both physically and mentally and leaves him afraid of anyone other than his brothers in the MC and those at the fire department he works at. Yet he has a chance meeting with a child Damien, who had strayed from his classmates while they were touring the fire station that Francis works at. These two seem to have a deep connection with one another right off the bat. Could it be they both have scars, could it be something else?
I loved the connection between Francis and Damien, and it seemed almost kismet that they meet and hit it off so well. I’m feeling a deeper connection between these two especially since they both have a special gift that helps move this book along.
I enjoyed the flow of the book. Damien’s mom Grace leaves a thank you gift for Francis after her son comes home full of stories about the huge fireman that he seems to be enamoured with. Damien’s father and Grace’s ex turns out to also be from a MC yet really different than the Grimm Wolves MC. It was neat meeting the members who stand behind Stitch, and who help rally round Stitch in protecting Grace and Damien from her ex’s MC who seem hell bent on disrupting Grace and Damien’s lives. This book leaves room for development of the relationship between Stitch, Damien and his mom Grace; as well as showing us possible direction into the other members lives, so I’m excited to see where the story goes from here. There is a lot still brewing and there are some mysterious twists that are sure to be revealed in future books so I’m excited to hear more from this MC.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book. The narration by both Gunnar and Jenna was engaging. Gunnar’s portrayal of Francis is very realistic and who I heard as his character in my mind. And his parts as the young Damien was amazing too. Jenna as Grace showcased how lovely and fiercely protective she could be with those she loves. Amazing job at bringing this book to life.

Interesting characters
This story started out grabbing my attention but after a while I struggled with it. I liked the characters, especially how Dameon connected with Francis, however this MC was a lot more mild than any I have read/listened to before. The narration was good. 🎧Audiobook Obsession.

Just okay for me!💜
This story didn’t grab me the way I was hoping it would. The storyline had promise but for me it felt off. Like some things didn’t seem to fit. It also felt a little redundant in some areas. I did love the instant connection between the characters, as well as how the timeline was paced. Some times a relationship is rushed in a book so we can hurry on to the sex. Speaking of sex, I thought the sex scenes were pretty hot.
The narration was ok but it was a bit too slow for me so I had to adjust my speed. This is book 1 with an HEA, however this story does continue.

Loved every moment, could not put it down.
I never miss an opportunity to explore a new MC book so I was happy to get a free audio copy of this one. This book is different from the usual MC stories but it's entertaining and imaginative. I cannot imagine having to go through what Francis (AKA Stitch) went through. To be terrorised and brutalized by your parents is the highest betrayal. Francis, Grace and her son Damien is a match made in heaven, they complete each other in every way. I love the supernatural aspect of the story, it brought a extra intrigue to the story that I love. A new author for me, I will definitely read more.

Light MC romance
I liked the combination of MC romance mixed with paranormal elements and enjoyed the plot. Unfortunately, the male narrator’s voice was a bit lacking in intonation at times, (almost robotic and very slow), and that put me off the book as a whole. The female narrator was great though. It’s definitely on the lighter end of MC romances, with no undue violence or gritty themes, so I think I’d give the next book in the series a try.
