About this listen
Rose Sinclair counts through life in sixes. It's how she gets by when she's not in the company of her best friend and Tourette's sufferer, Laurie, or focusing on her busy work schedule as the personal assistant and office manager for the extremely attractive and extremely married, Ezra Conti. Everything has a place and Rose likes it that way. It must be that way. But even her quirks aren't enough to keep her in her lane and away from temptation. No matter how hard she tries to fight a detour in her life's perfect navigation system. She doesn't like-like her boss. Not one bit. He belongs with his wife, and Rose...Rose belongs by his side.

Deeply flawed, heartfelt characters
“She has my heart, but you have my soul.”
So I adore A.E. Murphy’s writing. However, I’ve been hesitant to read this book because cheating can be hard to come past. So if cheating is a hard limit for you.. just don’t read it. With that said though... the words, the emotions are so beautifully written in this book.
I love that the heroine, Rose, is not this perfect “10” character. She has some well defined quirks that aren’t necessarily named but she definitely has some autistic type tendencies. She’s very unsure of herself. And has a humor that while is a great addition to her personality is used to shade uncomfortableness around groups of people. Her best friend has turrets that while sometimes makes for some great laughs is not done in a way that makes fun of the “disability”. A.E. Murphy also writes this men in the story that are so deeply flawed and struggling but love so hard. They make horrible, horrible choices but you can’t help but love all their faults.
Truly, I absolutely loved these characters with my whole heart and devoured this book in a day!!
