Summary
Superstar NFL Baller Brett McCarthy had always been described by the media as having superhuman strength. Little did they know, they were right.
Brett owed his incredible strength to the fact that he was a shapeshifting WereBear. A secret that Brett worked hard to protect from ever getting out.
However, it seemed that Brett might have finally met his fated mate in curvy Cassie Winters. Now, it was becoming apparent that if he ever wanted Cassie, he would have to choose between his baller-life and his bear-life.
But when a shocking family revelation came to light, Brett found that his decision was going to be even more impossible to make than he first expected.
This is a unique paranormal-sports romance full of love, adventure, and thrilling bear fun. Do not miss out on this one of a kind romance book. Only listen if 18+.

Romance with intensity and American football!
I found this story to be quite different from the usual shifter romance. That said, I rather liked it.
Cassi is an unapologetically strong independent woman with a passion for football. Brett is on the team that Cassi's father coaches and she works for. Don't worry too much if American football isn't your thing. While it is important, it isn't central to the story.
The shifter magic and mystery is the thread that sparkles through the story, despite Brett not having fully transitioned initially. In fact the theme plays peak-a-boo through most of the story, remaining just out of reach. It is intriguing and elusive, keeping the reader wondering. It was almost like a quest to line up all the details to culminate in that perfect moment when all is revealed and the proverbial sh** hits the fan!
Overall, it is unusual. Not the best I've ever heard but quite interestingly constructed.
