Great resource

I have always joked that I live to eat instead of eat to live. I have been an emotional eater for so long that I had almost given up. This book was a great resource to help me identify my emotional triggers, and recognize how I guilt and shame myself when I go to food for emotional support. The book offers strategies for brain rewiring, binge eating, mindful eating, boredom eating and habit adjustment and more. Full of inspiration and advice. This gives hope.

Great book!

Who doesn't eat too much when you're stressed out? Heck, I even do it when I'm just bored! Why? Why when we all know it will lead to weight gain, which will just stress us out even more?! Now layer on some guilt :(. This science-based book offers practical tools to understand this phenomenon, and the book also includes great personal stories. It is designed to help you make small sustainable changes. It helps you rewire your brain to understand emotional hunger versus physical hunger.

This audiobook also includes a 30 day workbook you can download. It includes daily reflection prompts, the 5 step pause method to interrupt emotional eating, a log to help monitor sleep patterns, a goal setting worksheet and a progress tracker. I am excited to start my journey using the tools in this book. Highly recommend.
