How to change the world - a toolkit
An audacious book that succeeds on many levels. There are the fascinating stories of historical figures; key lessons of leadership - such as expecting and learning from failure; the narrative of great engineering and geographical achievements on a global scale; and insights which emerged during the research, distillation and writing of the book itself. While the explorer, engineer/scientist and politician figures are each represented individually, what is fascinating is that each of the three protagonists had each of these three elements within their character as key elements of success - and that the three stories had other remarkable overlaps. A remarkable listen.
