A brilliant explanation of how to use Ho'oponopono

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you've already come across Ho'opnonpono then this audiobook will tell you how to use it. I've been using the tools in this book and seen huge changes in my thinking and inner world, experienced an 'energetic' clearing out, and had some things fall away from my life, some I didn't want to go, but realised they had to go.

I love this work, it is empowering and liberating.

What does Joe Vitale bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

His personality. He is cheeky, generous, driven and continually seeking out and sharing ways of improving ourselves and our lives. So what if he makes a truck load of money doing it, he's a clever man and understands how to use the Law of Attraction to create the life he wants by doing what he loves.

I bought this as an audio book. very engaging and enjoyable. I preferred this book to zero limits. would highly recommend those who are trying 2 understand why they are where they are

Can be read as standalone audiobook

This is the first Joe Vitale audiobook/book I have experienced so the first thing to say is that it can be heard as a stand-alone. I was interested in it because of Ho’oponopono and there are some helpful examples illustrating the application of the technique and a very helpful clearing prayer that can be used to cut unwanted cords or release fears. It was easy to listen to. The only point to be mindful of is that there are sections where the book seems to be the author’s way of expressing his own disappointments in others and other sections that seem self-promotional. If these things are going to trigger you, best not to go for this. However, it has some helpful messages and examples.

Another inspiring book by Joe Vitale

Joe, once again, has the amazing talent of communicating through his writing simple yet profound truths and understanding for the benefit of all. His honesty and self-introspection is refreshing.

I'm not sure what to make of Dr Vitale. His earlier work seemed to be more authentic whilst latterly it just seems to be repetitive and marketing tools for other work.

What happened?

I have read many of Dr Joe Vitale’s books and I have leant so much. He is a fountain of knowledge and a positive catalyst for change. I have read the previous books on Hoʻoponopono and I have much respect for Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len and the ancient Hawaiian traditions. I am currently in the process of designing a tattoo to help me to remember to keep cleaning, so my reservations are not with the concept, but how/ why this book was written. This book felt like a desperate attempt to make more money with so much repetition from previous books. Of course, there is nothing wrong with making a profit, but should that be the driving force?
Additionally, I felt uncomfortable at times as it felt like a platform to disgrace Joe’s old friend. We have all been hurt by friends, but should it be aired here?
Furthermore, I was unsure what the point was by comparing Dr Hew Len’s teaching to that of his mentor, which felt like questioning Dr Hew Len’s knowledge. For example, Dr Hew Len says to use blue solar water, but his mentor said you don’t need it. So, should we listen to Dr Hew Len or not? It felt like it created doubt which I found disrespectful. This feeling was increased as Joe lists some things that Dr Hew Len makes money from, such as business cards. Yet, in fact it is payment for a cleaning tool. Finally, I was completely taken back by statements such as, Christian’s arrived and civilized Hawaiians from their dark magic! I found this so disrespectful for so many reasons.
This book feels very different and I don’t take pleasure in writing this review as it is completely against my usual feelings towards Dr Joe Vitale’s books. I have to say that I am comforted in the fact that Dr Hew Len did not put his name to this book.
