Summary

Based on his new book, Robert L. Leahy, Ph.D., author of the best-selling book The Worry Cure, turns his attention to anxiety. Leahy looks at the origin of anxiety and teaches you how to outsmart your fears for a less stressful life. He lays out the symptoms associated with some of the most common anxiety disorders, including panic and agoraphobia, obsessive-compulsive, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and post-traumatic stress and provides simple, step-by-step guides to help you overcome the fears associated with each of these.

Anxiety Free explores how preprogrammed rules of reaction, which are a product of the evolutionary process, keep us in the grip of anxiety. For each anxiety disorder, Leahy shows how our fears and unchallenged assumptions stand in the way of our freedom. Using Leahy's methods, which are based on the best psychological treatments available, you will be able to work toward a life free from the apprehension, tension, and avoidance associated with anxiety.

Anxiety issues ? Read on !!!.

I am a 39 year old man living in England. For as long as I can remember, I have had major issues with anxiety and social anxiety, in its many forms. Trying to live a so-called normal life with all its added anxiety driven pressures.

This is for myself, the BEST book I have read and now heard on the subject.

Very informative yet easy to follow. I could relate to all of this talking book. Robert understands anxiety inside out, with many years of experience behind him. He throws the spotlight on the thoughts, feelings and actions of the anxiety sufferer. Why we keep living the life we do, what mistakes we keep making over and over to keep us in its nasty grip.

Lets face it, anxiety is seriously nasty as it stops us from feeling free to simply relax and enjoy life the same as others can. At its worst, it can make you a total recluse living in fear and misery.

From panic attacks to grinding my teeth, from chest pains to insomnia, you name it, I have struggled with it. Socially I became a recluse, too scared of meeting people, so the years passed and I felt a real outcast.

For me and I am sure for yourself, this will be a real gem of a find. If you have any issues with anxiety in its many forms. Or you live with someone who suffers, then you now have available to you one of the most informative, educational audio books out there. It made me understand that I am not as insane or useless as I have come to think.

That there are millions like us out there who suffer and struggle in silence too. Well suffer no more. Add this to your collection and I hope, like myself, you will get a true insight into your suffering and start taking some very positive and proactive steps to move on with life, to live life and not live in fear.

All the best to you.

Baz from England.
