Short and surprisingly action packed

Despite being a novella, there is a lot going on in this book.

Gillian and Maximus grew up together. They both assumed that Gillian was mate to the alpha, a wolf that was their best friend. That is, until they touched and their mating instinct kicked in. Of course that left a lot to sort out before their private claiming could become a public one.

As it turns out this is the first book in the series and it provides many additional characters for more stories. There are also other issues that the pack needs to address. It is quite amazing to have so much packed into one shorter story. I guess I would have liked the story to be a little longer to explore some of these issues more indepth.

Overall, the audiobook was an entertaining and sexy little listen!
