Summary
I expected to start normal college, but instead I wound up sprouting fur.
The one thing about growing up an orphan was that life sucked, but at least it was my kind of sucky. It was simple, ordinary, predictable.
Until the night I woke up naked in a dark forest, surrounded by a trio of powerful shifters who plucked me from my miserable existence to tell me I'm some sort of supernatural monster.
Now I'm taking a crash course in Werewolf 101 at some freaky, secret academy. Not to mention I can't get my mind off an infuriating, yet gorgeous (and off-limits) lion shifter who loves yoga and calling me "poodle".
If I can't get my shift together in this world of underground societies and scandal, I'm going to be up a creek without a doggy-paddle. Especially when a rare ability emerges within me. The last shifter who had this so-called gift wound up dead, and if anyone finds out I possess it, so will I.
Now wolfy and I must step up our game and quit tripping over our own tail.
Life is never going to be normal again.

I really liked this book. It twists and turns but doesnt lack in content. It emmerses you in the academy world and holds you hostage. I'm really intrigued as to where the series goes next. The narrator really fits with this book.

Interesting
Academy of Shifters involves a young lady with werewolf abilities. The storyline includes a love interest, deceit, and betrayal. The characters are likable and believable and the storyline is entertaining. Looking forward to the next story!! The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. I received a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

These characters are fantastic. I love them. The humour and sass in this book is fantastic. Brittany is amazing, absolutely perfect for this book. Very enjoyable.

Definitely will be listening to book 2
I received a free audio copy of this book directly from the author for an honest review.
Holy hell that cliffhanger!! I’m not going to lie to start with I thought I wasn’t going to like the book as Remi is someone who could do with a little sweetner but raised in the foster system and ripped out of her normal life into a life of a shifter it’s actually understandable. I was really pleased that I’ve grown to like her sarcastic quips that sometimes are probably a little out of order and I like the way she deals with her issues at the academy. The academy (world building) was pretty well described but the plot itself can be a little choppy at times but that doesn’t take away from the enjoyment of the story for me. I will most definitely be listening to the next book.

Sizzle
This started off weird and I often felt very sorry for the heroine. I did like her wit and how she interacted with everyone, especially Laith! Yum. They really have some sizzle together. The story leads you to lots of questions. It has a lot of suspense and mystery. Was an interesting plot line with the twin and everything. I really enjoyed listening to the narrator tell the tale.

Shifters, Magic, & Deception
Really enjoyed listening. Remi has had a hard life in and out of foster homes. She is about to start college. She was on her way to freshman orientation when she gets drawn in a different direction. That split second decision changed her life as she knew it. She gets taken to a shifter academy and told she is a wolf. She starts having issues actually shifting into her wolf. Deception and betrayal, add a dash of possible romance makes for a very enjoyable book. Just watch out for the ending, it really leaves you wanting more.
