About this listen
With a new wave of adult ADHD diagnoses sweeping the world, many are beginning to discover what it is that sets them apart, but few have learnt what it takes to thrive...
What does ADHD tell us about how we think and act? Can it limit opportunities and connection? Does it offer cerebral superpowers? What strategies and medication can help lessen the difficulties of ADHD and instead boost its benefits? World-renowned ADHD expert, best-selling author, and TikTok sensation Dr Edward M. Hallowell (aka Dr Ned) demystifies this deeply misunderstood diagnosis in 100 lessons.
Transform your understanding of ADHD and learn to thrive through simple science and must-know life hacks. Brief entries and an easy-to-follow structure disseminates knowledge and the latest scientific findings in a style particularly suited to ADHD listeners. As both an ADHD expert, and a diagnosed patient, Dr Ned blends a medical and personal take on the topic in this groundbreaking guide.

Very helpful
Lots of helpful ways of looking at ADHD and useful techniques for managing it. Listened in pretty much one sitting! And will go back through again.

Another insightful book by Ned Hallowell
I've read and listened to so many books on adhd and yet Ned Hallowell never fails to find a new insight on the subject. He writes with such authenticity and also with a balance of the blessings and the curse of adhd that so many other clinicians lack! Thank you for your lifetime of work on this subject. 🙂

Excellent Book
Loved how the book was written.
As as someone newly diagnosed with ADHD, I had been looking for a book that would answer and explain all the questions regarding ADHD and what is next?
I did look at some other books before finding this one and found them fluffy, kind of victimising those with ADHD and quite hopeless.
This was accessable, explained ADHD using up to date research and the writer works in the field of ADHD, as well being diagnosed themselves.
A brilliant resource to help you make further positive steps, whether you have a diagnosis, or not.
