The mice of Brambly Hedge have many adventures but they always have time for fun too. All through the year, they mark the seasons with feasts and festivities and, of course, the mice never miss an opportunity to meet and celebrate.
This collection contains four classic stories following their adventures throughout the year.
In Winter Story a heavy snowfall means the mice can hold a Snow Ball for the first time in years. In Autumn Story Primrose makes friends with the harvest mice before losing her way in the chestnut woods. Wilfred gets a birthday surprise in Spring Story, when all the mice club together to organise a fantastic picnic for him; and in Summer Story, Poppy Eyebright and Dusty Dogwood get engaged and a wonderful wedding is planned by all the mice of Brambly Hedge.

A lovely bedtime story
My three year old loves these stories (except he’s adamant that Primrose should have stayed with Wilfred in Autumn story).
We listen to them at bedtime. The voice actor is very gentle, the music is possibly mixed a little loudly, but it’s a nice tune.

Lovely gentle stories, beautifully narrated
John Moffatt’s wonderful narration is perfect for these timeless children’s stories. Gentle and imaginative and perfect for bedtime.

lovely audiobook for children
a set of stories with very mild peril suitable for little ones to listen to alone or with a grown up. As there are 4 stories back to back the listening time is

I loved this. Very cosy and cute. Well read too.
My only gripe would be there is a lot of music which goes on and on.

So glad the put these together into one book
They used to have one 20min listen for a credit which I thought was really unfair, but this is brilliant. Totally beautiful stories and wonderful narration.

A bit disappointed 😞
Seems like bits have been edited out from what I remember. On the whole still a listen and great for children but you may be left a deflated if you remember the stories from childhood.

not as advertised
brought because it said a year and included winter spring summer and autumn stories, it didn't it only contains the winter story, complete waste of time as very short witg just one story
