Summary

Meet Tom. Or Dr O’Grady, as he used to be called. When you pass him on the street, most people don’t even give him a second glance. You see, Tom isn’t living his best life. Burdened by grief, he’s only got his loyal dog, Bette Davis, for company and a rucksack containing his whole world.

Then there’s Ruth and her son, DJ, who no longer have a place to call home. But Ruth believes that you can change the world by helping one person at a time - and Tom needs her help.

There are a thousand ways to find your home - you just need to be brave enough to look for them.

A moving story

A deeply moving story with a social message that has evoked much thought about homelessness, food waste and helping others. Well performed. Thank you

Great story

A story about a lady with Aspergers, her son, their unfortunate circumstances that lead to them becoming homeless.
I liked how the events were not obvious, surprises came throughout the story. Very good read

An inspiring story of all ' normal people.

A beautiful story of what can change people's lives and the sadness it brings to lead them into a new way of life and how humanity judges people who are not seen as ' normal ' in society. My 2nd book to read from Carmel Harrington. I will choose another now .

Easy listen with some depth

This was an easy listen with a happy ending without being superficial. It deals with some serious issues in a feel-good story.

Very moving story

Life is so up and down and at times random. Loved the characters and the narration was good too.
