Summary

A new order. An ancient evil. A battle about to begin.

It is the near future. Adrian De Vere, president of the European Union, oversees the signing of an unprecedented international treaty, ushering in a new era of one-world government.

Jason De Vere, media mogul, finds himself forced out of the empire he helped create. With friends, allies, and even family turning against him, help comes from an unexpected quarter....

Nick De Vere, archaeologist and playboy - and newly returned from the dead - leads Jason into an underground world of hidden knowledge and forbidden secrets. Together they must face down the most ruthless of adversaries: their own brother.

As the Antarctic ice gives up a grisly secret, and shadowy figures are plotting behind the scenes, armies of good and evil are being marshaled for the conflict to come. Operation Pale Horse is underway....

Who is more afraid of the dark...?

“Who is more afraid: the child who is afraid of the dark or the man who is afraid of the light?”
This series of books should be read by every ‘sinner’ and every ‘saved’ by grace child of God! It makes you laugh, cry, hope and pray more earnestly for yourself, others and the whole race of humankind. It also causes you to question everything you see, hear, experienced and thought you knew in this life. If you allow the messages of the book to explore your heart, soul and mind without restrictions, maybe - just maybe your life, and death will never ever be the same.
Don’t be afraid of the light my dear brothers and sisters.

Another winner, better than reading the book

When I read the first 2 or 3 books a few years ago I did feel the endless earthly goings on very boring and tedious. However, when the books are narrated skillfully, as these are, the characters come to life and the boring bits don't seem boring any more. I love the glimpses into the possibilities of the angelic goings on/ it adds another layer and excitement.

Outstanding as always!!

The best part about these books are the characters. It reminds me of mainstream tv where you love the characters and feel everything they do.

It is filled with real life struggles, passions and relationships.

Wonderful series

Absolutely recommend. I’ve been immersed in the world of this book series for the last couple of months and I’m sad to have finished them.

The rise of Antichrist

I am very much enjoying this series, which is bringing the events of the Bible, past and future, very much to life. The lush descriptions of everything, from the gardens of heaven to the appearance of the angelic beings, is magnificent....even if certain words are repeatedly overused. Halfway through, I started wishing I'd counted the number of times Wendy uses the word "imperial" - those "high imperial cheekbones" pop up all over the place! It appears that she may not have use of a good thesaurus. Here, Wendy, are a few alternative synonyms to "imperial" which you may like to note down for future reference:
Noble, magnificent, imposing, glorious, royal, majestic, aristocratic, regal, impressive, exalted, kingly, princely, stately, sublime, marvellous, magnific, divine, wondrous, lordly, palatine resplendent.
apart from that (and I'm just nit picking) this is an excellent story, ambitious in its conception and meticulously researched. It helped to deepen my faith and my understanding of the Bible.
