Summary
When pragmatic, sensible and resolutely single Deirdre York (Didi to her friends) is sent to Venice for work she is determined not to be taken in by the romantic clichés. Winter in the floating city may be breathtakingly beautiful, but she’s here with a clear purpose and will not let the magic of Venice distract her.

Absolutely Lovely
What a truly lovely book. I absolutely adored the characters and brilliant narration by Karen Cass. Leonie really researched Venice and I suddenly want to visit ❤️

Beautiful
Eloquent descriptions of Venice and crafting of Murano glass encased in romance. Perfecto! Linguistic characterful masterpiece by Karen Cass narration.

Dreadful, Most awfully narrated book.
The put on accent is the worst I've ever heard. I couldn't finish the book.
