About this listen
Asperger's Syndrome, or high-functioning autism, is a form of autism that falls on the autism spectrum. Asperger's Syndrome can be seen in adults and in children if you know what to look for. Many people who can be described as hypersensitive, odd or eccentric have Asperger's Syndrome which has gone undiagnosed. Some of the greatest comedians, singers, actors and inventors have Asperger's syndrome. They specialize in what they are good at, and they can become highly successful in doing so.
In this book, we will discuss the different overt and covert traits that can be seen in those with Asperger's Syndrome in its list form. If you feel that you or someone you know has Asperger's, it is essential to have the diagnosis confirmed so that the Asperger's person can seek help in learning the skills that are essential to making them more successful in their ambitions.
Asperger's Syndrome children and adults have an underdeveloped brain on MRI scans. They lack the brain development in certain areas that help them to keep up with their peers. They may be advanced in specialty areas, but they may lag behind their peers in normal development of other areas. Their nervous system and their emotions are often sensitive. They often feel alienated from their peers, as though they do not fit in. Asperger's can cause depression, and possibly even suicide, if it not recognized early.

informative
while the book is informative I feel it could have gone into more detail, it did feel rushed and at times lacked depth especially for those who are looking for information pre diagnosis of a family member.

Too short and too general
Disappointed. The book is too short (how can it even be called a book?). I think a story of Cinderella is longer... The traits described in the book are so general and don't even scratch the surface. If you want to understand what the syndrome is about this is not the best book for that as after listening to this virtually everyone you know will have a trait or two and it will leave you wandering if everyone in the world has this syndrome.

Great list
This is a great list with a short, on-point explanation, in “headline style”.
At first, I was sorry to see that it’s only 20 minutes long but that’s also what makes it great for letting people know about you, as an “aspie”.

short but informative
I am new to understanding autism and aspergers so I am trying to get an understanding quickly. My husband has been diagnosed at 56 and I am struggling to understand what's the disorder and what's abuse! 😕 Not easy, but this book helps a little. I just wish it was longer and more in depth.

Can we please not use the term 'aspie'? Offensive
Having recently been diagnosed with the condition, I was hugely disappointed that the book portrays the condition as a subhuman developmental disability, and widely uses the patronizing and offensive term 'aspie' with no sensitivity to sufferers who might be reading along.
OFFENSIVE GARBAGE. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

actually this book made me very angry
Twenty minutes of meaningless, unhelpful generalisations that offered little or no insight into ASD, but a whole load of frequently inaccurate reasons to judge people on the autistic spectrum. I wish I'd found the reviews before wasting my money and 20 minutes of my life (well, actually 15 minutes because I just couldn't make it to the end).
