Summary

Lone wolf or part of the crew?

My life has turned out to be a web of lies.

All I know for sure is that the hit men who took me into their home aren't the real villains in this story.

As the Chaos Crew helps me track down answers about who I am and what happened to me all those years ago, I can't help wondering if their home could become mine, too. Especially when I discover just how delicious each of them can be in their unique ways.

But to work alongside me is a dangerous game. My unknown enemies are ramping up their attacks, and we're all in the line of fire now.

Will winning the loyalty of these brutal men guarantee my survival - or send them to an early grave?

Killer Lies is the second book in a new gritty contemporary romance series from best-selling author Eva Chase (writing as Eva Chance) and Harlow King. No major triggers, just hot, murderously-inclined men; a deadly heroine out for revenge; and an enemies-to-lovers romance where the girl gets all the guys. Prepare for total bloody chaos!

Decima Chooses To Stay

This second book in The Chaos Crew picks up Dess' story where the first book left off and continues her story. She and the guys get to know each other much better in this instalment and she is finally able to make some decisions for herself. I like Decima aka Dess she’s confident and strong even though sometimes the things she does seem to be somewhat reckless, she does seem to be able to back that confidence with her actions.

We find out more about Dess too how she ended up in The Household, and who her father is although not her mother, but there is still a threat to be faced by all of the Crew, will they come through it unscathed?

When it comes to the guys I have a problem trying to choose between them, I'm not sure who my favourite is each of them has a lot going for them, Blaze is such a sweet guy who respects her boundaries. Garrison is intriguing I love his ability to play a part, Talon the strong and silent one makes me wonder how far he would go for Dess as for Julius, I loved his loyalty and strength. Their relationship is tested in this one - will they remain a solid unit?

This book like the previous one ends on a cliffhanger, and what a cliffhanger - I for one need the next book NOW!

The narration by Vanessa Moyen and Stephen Dexter is excellent - there is no need to say more they have these characters down!

I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.
