About this listen
Kind, insistent, and refusing to go away, Granger Barnett is one of the most gorgeous men I’ve ever met. I imagine every woman in Rockhead Point wants a taste of the mountain man. Except me.
When my RV breaks down, he shows up like the good Samaritan ready to save me, only I’m not looking for a hero. But it turns out no isn’t a word Granger hears that often, especially not from the woman he thinks is meant to be his.
He says it’s fate, I’m confident he’s got the wrong girl.
Only apparently the Barnett brothers know how to get their own way. So now I’m staying at his house, and he’s talked me into giving him the weekend to convince me I’m his.
But while I’m planning my great escape, I realize he doesn’t just want the weekend, he wants to keep me forever.

broken and toxic
This is how Alice sees herself after her sister left when she was 13. Alice reminds me of a Gypsy roaming the states. it so happens her RV breaks down by Rockhead Point. Along comes Granger to pick her up. through Granger, she is able to slowly resolve her issues.
I enjoyed this story. Granger is possessive but not overbearing. Alice and Granger clicked. He is a nurturer.
Arlene and Duncan were amazing. they made the book come to life.

Ok listen
This was an ok listen. I liked the story but I kept being pulled out whenever the female narrator talked. Nothing against her acting, I just don't know why I couldn't connect with her. I liked the male narrator more and made me feel more listening to him. Overall, it was a decent listen.

Granger & Alice!
Every Montana Mountain Man leads me to a new favorite, and Gemma Weir has given me Granger this time! Yes, this over protective alpha male is packed full of love! He has no intention of leaving the broken down RV on the side of the road with the beautiful Alice at the wheel. And then it hits him. That over powering need to make her his own. He has his hands full with her! Alice has never felt she belonged anywhere. She left home at sixteen roaming the country with her RV, never setting down roots. Now she has Granger, wanting her to stay, move in with her and be part of the family. The Barnetts are overwhelming at times, but their loyalty and love is never ending. Will they all win Alice over and get her to stay? Will Granger win her heart? Fun! Fun! Fun! I love this story, Alice's back story, the family feel and the alpha men who become big teddy bears! Can't wait until the next one.
Arelene Seberg and Duncan Cole are our storytelllers and they are fabulous together. Seberg voices the shy, unconfident Alice, and she is amazing. She gives off that apprehensiveness that is Alice, but it's easy to hear her change as she warms up to Granger. Cole is the best at dominant men, and he creates Granger with a warm heart, but a feeling of authority. Loved these two together, enjoying every minute.

My Thoughts on Kept by the Mountain Man
This one had a bit of a difficult feel to it than the other two and yet also had a lot of the same elements I’d come to expect. What I liked was that Granger didn’t seem quite as bad as Huck had been, but also was just as loyal as Huck and Beau before him. I liked that Alice was very much an independent woman in a lot of ways, but also on the other hand because of her past and because of certain personality quirks, she was very dependent on Granger. It worked for them. I enjoyed that while this story moved quick, they had serious issues thrown at them and had real discussions about them. The narration on this story was excellent. Both performers did an outstanding job and I wouldn’t hesitant to listen to either of them again.

Kept
Amazing dual narration from Arlene Seberg and Duncan Cole. Perfect
Wow you if love bossy and possessive this is your book. Granger is the strong silent type, when meets Alice his protective alpha male comes out. Alice's childhood and adolescence is one I wouldn't wish on anyone but Granger is full of love for Alice. Hot, possessive, alpha, humour and perfect match

Finding a home.
Arlene Seberg and Duncan Cole are both outstanding narrators, who breathe life and energy into the story and the characters. They are nuanced and believable. Alice's complete lack of feelings of self worth are challenged by the kind, possessive Granger and she is able to see a life filled with family, commitment and love, which she has not experienced before. I have to admit that the plethora of bedroom scenes did become a bit much for me, but I was happy to see Alice welcomed into a life filled with people and escaping the loneliness of her past. 💖💖💖💖
