Summary
I owe him a debt. A big one. The payment can't be settled with money or favors.
He only wants one thing. Me.
Every action gets a reward. A button. Once I fill his jar with 365 buttons, he'll let me go. He'll let me walk away. But I have to earn every single one. By submitting to the darkest, cruelest, and most beautiful man I've ever known.
Trigger warning: There are some dark and disturbing scenes of abuse and punishment.

Great and steamy hot
This audiobook was absolutely amazing as all her books.
This was to me a little darker (maybes little to dark for me) but only in the start then in some her other book 📖
But this was full of suspense and hot sexscenes 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

expensive series.
There are free on Android play books. I have paid for the first 4 books. now you wanna charge me double for each of the last 2 books. disgusting. £7-8 per book is high price enough. now you are charging customers £16 each for the last 2 books. shameful.

Loved it!
Would you consider the audio edition of Buttons and Lace to be better than the print version?
Yes 100% having both a male and female narrators set the story on fire
What was one of the most memorable moments of Buttons and Lace?
Just everything about Crow!
Have you listened to any of Michael Ferraiuolo and Samantha Cook ’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
It was all just incredible, almost like an erotic version of Beauty & the Beast!

Great start
The first book I read by Penelope Sky was 'Muse in Lingerie'. However when I learnt that the 'Buttons' series was about Conway's parents, I decided I had to go back to the beginning, before reading the rest of tge series.
The storyline in 'Buttons and Lace' is dark and quite terrifying to begin with. Then it seems to ease slightly.
When Pearl is with Bones, she puts up a good fight, but this causes more problems for her. So she uses her strengths in other ways.
I like Pearl's character, as she is strong, fiesty and fierce. She doesn't let her vulnerable side show very often.
Crow is a perfect match for Pearl as they are alike in many ways. Neither wants to back down, they don't show fear and they are both loyal.
I am now going to start 'Buttons and Hate' because I am addicted to these characters.
The narration for this book is told in the dual POV and is done by Michael Ferraiuolo and the Samantha Cook. Both of them do a brilliant job of bringing Crow and Pearl to life.
