    This week we have not one but two guests joining us on Over The Influence! They are Tammy and Brennan, a mother and daughter from San Diego in California.

    When Tammy gave up drinking three years ago, little did she know that her own daughter Brennan was also about to change her own relationship with alcohol too.

    Brennan saw the positive effect that giving up drinking had had on her Mum and decided that it was the right thing to do for her too. Fourteen months later, neither of them are looking back.

    Thanks so much to Tammy and Brennan for coming on the pod, your story is going to resonate with so many others and we look forward to catching up with you both again down the line!

    Stuart decided that it was time for a change in an MRI machine of all places, as he typed out an encouraging message to a colleague who had decided that they would like to be alcohol free.

    Since then, he has joined our community and is truly embracing all of the benefits that life without alcohol can bring. As you're about to hear, he's as wise as they come (we could all #BeMoreStuart) and is a much loved member of our gang.

    This week we have the wonderful Emma Cleal joining us on Over The Influence!

    Emma has been sober now for a year (congrats!) and while she is here to talk about that, she is mainly here to share the story of her son Frank who tragically passed away aged just thirteen years old.

    Following this, Emma felt the conventional wisdom she was getting was to find comfort in drinking alcohol. Wisely, she decided to take the opposite course of action.

    In the time since Frank passed, Emma (along with friends and family) has been committed to raising money in Frank's name via their initiative Be More Frank and at the time of writing this, they're very nearly on a whopping £200,000!

Funny, Relatable, Educational & Life Changing

Shaz and Ben, along with all their wonderful guests bring a perfect balance of support, humour, education and acceptance.
It's like having a weekly catch up with good friends.
I have learnt so much about AF life, the effects of Alcohol and how to navigate being AF in a world of drinkers.
I have laughed, cried and learnt with every episode that they share.
Wherever you are on your 'journey', whether you're sober curious, all in AF or looking for information to help with a loved one please take time to listen to these amazing human beings and the brilliant Podcast that they release each week.
I promise you it's a life changer.
