About this listen

Why did literary legend Wynn Staniland suddenly become a recluse in the 1980s? Most assumed he stopped writing because of his wife's bizarre suicide. And now a promising young author called Zac Wilkinson is working on Staniland's biography and hopes to reveal the true story to a waiting world. When Wilkinson is found brutally murdered, DI Wesley Peterson finds links to the unexplained poisoning of a middle-aged couple - and Staniland appears to be the connection. The case becomes personal for Wesley when he discovers his son is involved, and as he begins to unravel decades of secrets and deception, the shocking truth proves almost too much to bear....

such intrigue brilliant

As ever the twist and turns of several plots, had to listen to the first few chapters twice to get the who's who in my head but loved it.

I could not made a final decision if I liked the reading of the book or not itbwas very dry and dis not fit the main charter Wesley.

Once again a historically linked plot within the narrative. This is yet another good story from Kate Ellis.

Having listened to all the previous books I like the familiarity of the developing characters and the twists and turns in the plot.

Twists and Turns.

Didn't see the end coming at all. Have read most of this author's books and this is up there with the best of them. More please.
