The classic Argo production
Argo always got the very best actors to grace their productions with their top quality enunciation and pronunciation. Tim Piggot Smith is a delight to listen to and the abridgement of the story still feels epic and sumptuous. This audio book is a true pleasure.

The excellent reading.
I read this as a teenager and thought it wonderfully romantic. In old age, the magic has gone but Scott is interesting as a once greatly admired writer.
